Confidentiality in mediation

Rules limiting how information shared in mediation may be used later, often reinforced by agreement and law, distinct from software access controls.

General information only, not legal advice, mediation advice, or a substitute for professional judgment. Neutly is administrative software for mediator practices; it does not host live video or select court neutrals. Mediators and lawyers remain responsible for their work.

Mediators explain confidentiality in pre-mediation materials and intake acknowledgements. Software confidentiality means tenant isolation, access logging, and secure document storage—not legal privilege by itself.

Choose platforms with clear data hosting statements and role-based staff permissions. Neutly security pages describe hosting and access patterns for sensitive position papers.
