ADR glossary

Minimum booking notice

The lead time required between booking and the first available session slot, giving mediators time to prepare and parties time to complete intake.

General information only, not legal advice, mediation advice, or a substitute for professional judgment. Neutly is administrative software for mediator practices; it does not host live video or select court neutrals. Mediators and lawyers remain responsible for their work.

Minimum notice protects against same-day bookings that skip intake or fee collection. It appears on public calendars as greyed-out slots inside the window.

Combined with late-cancel rules, notice settings align party expectations with your preparation workflow. Configure them once per session type rather than renegotiating in email.
