Practice timezone

The IANA timezone configured for a mediator practice, used to display and schedule session dates and times consistently for all parties and staff.

General information only, not legal advice, mediation advice, or a substitute for professional judgment. Neutly is administrative software for mediator practices; it does not host live video or select court neutrals. Mediators and lawyers remain responsible for their work.

Parties may view booking from anywhere; session labels should reflect the mediator’s calendar timezone with a clear abbreviation, not the viewer’s browser local time. Min-notice and cancellation rules use the same wall-clock model.

Neutly stores session times as practice wall clock labelled in UTC and formats labels with practice locale and timezone helpers. This avoids midnight surprises when daylight saving changes.
