Settlement agreement

A written contract parties sign when mediation resolves some or all issues, often drafted by lawyers after the mediated terms are agreed.

General information only, not legal advice, mediation advice, or a substitute for professional judgment. Neutly is administrative software for mediator practices; it does not host live video or select court neutrals. Mediators and lawyers remain responsible for their work.

Mediators facilitate agreement on terms; they typically do not draft binding settlement documents unless separately qualified. The line between notes, term sheets, and final deeds matters for each jurisdiction.

Software may store uploaded signed copies and closure status on the matter. Keep legal drafting in counsel’s hands while using secure upload for the final document archive.
